Terms of service

The terms that apply when you rent a vehicle from us. The signed rental agreement takes precedence where the two differ.

These terms are a starting template reflecting standard UAE rental practice. Have them reviewed by a UAE-qualified lawyer and aligned with your insurance policy before relying on them.

Eligibility and documents

Drivers must hold a valid licence accepted in the United Arab Emirates. Residents provide an Emirates ID and a UAE licence; visitors provide a passport, visa page and either an international driving permit or a licence issued by an approved country.

The minimum age is 21 for most of the fleet and 25 for sports, exotic and high-performance vehicles. The vehicle page states the requirement for that model.

Only drivers named on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Allowing an unnamed driver to take the wheel voids the insurance.

Rates, deposits and payment

The rate quoted at the time of booking is the rate charged. Insurance and delivery within the UAE are included unless stated otherwise in writing.

A refundable security deposit applies to most vehicles. It is held for the duration of the rental and released after the vehicle is returned and any tolls or fines are settled.

Rentals are charged in twenty-four hour periods from the time of handover. Late returns beyond the agreed grace period are charged at the daily rate.

Mileage

Each rental includes a kilometre allowance, shown on the vehicle page and confirmed on the rental agreement. Additional kilometres are charged at the per-kilometre rate agreed before the rental begins.

Insurance and damage

All vehicles carry comprehensive insurance as required under UAE law. An excess applies, and the amount depends on the vehicle category.

You remain responsible for damage arising from negligence, driving under the influence, off-road use, racing or track use, or from any breach of these terms — none of which are covered by the insurance.

Any accident must be reported to the police and to us immediately. An insurance claim cannot be processed without a police report.

Fuel, tolls and fines

The vehicle is delivered with a recorded fuel level and must be returned at the same level, or the difference is charged.

Salik tolls and any traffic fines incurred during the rental period are charged at cost once they appear on the authority's system, which can be some weeks after the rental ends.

Use of the vehicle

The vehicle may be driven anywhere within the United Arab Emirates. Taking it across an international border requires our written approval and additional insurance in advance.

The vehicle may not be sub-let, used for hire or reward, used to push or tow another vehicle, or used for any unlawful purpose.

Cancellation and changes

Bookings can be amended or cancelled free of charge with reasonable notice before the rental start time. Where a vehicle has been reserved specifically or prepared for delivery, a charge may apply.

We may substitute a vehicle of equivalent or higher specification where the booked vehicle becomes unavailable through no fault of ours.
